Bottles carry water, store things, act as floats, and small boat hulls can be made from bottles tied together.
The cut plastic makes light duty hinges. As with most plastic, they can be heated and pressed to make stockboard.
Plasic bottles can also be top & tailed and assembled to make downpipes.
They're also usable in minimum cost solar panels, though hosepipe panels perform better.
